This home has seen so much beautiful life, thanks to our "Golden Mama" Kasha Barleysdottir. Her babies went to those in need, to save lives and brighten darker times. Hospice nurses, teens fighting cancer, survivors of tragedy. It's good Karma.

Still snow around the pond as the "Peepers" create a wondrous song in the water. The crocus have emerged, and tiny buds begin to bulde as they attempt to burst into a multitude of thousands of shades of green. Most don't realize, it's just "foliage in reverse."
And yes, from the crocus comes saffron. It's time to trim the orchards, vineyard and fruit bushes. "No Mow" until the neighbors bees have had their fill of dandelions and clover...

With such specular views from virtually every room, why doesn't the manor directly face Killington? Solar, passive and/or active. The Manor is strategically positioned for optimum solar power, each corner Southeast, Southwest, Northeast and Northwest. Aside from geothermal heating AND cooling, the dual Viessman system creates an extremely fuel efficient "Smart House". The only thing missing? Wind turbines. But solar, wind and alternative fuels are easily adaptive with the already-installed inverters for maximum 21st century efficiency. Why spend the money on a future past your years? Resources are not unlimited. Leave something for future generations, think past "the box".

Spring is here despite the five inches of snow yesterday. NEW! For this summer- A THREE bedroom, two bath family apartment and our two bedroom, two bath ground floor luxury apartment- both with separate entrances, new flatscreens, FRESHLY painted... looking Fabulous! Also, the luxury two bedroom now has a fully enclosed screened-in porch next to the pond and waterfalls. Soothing, private, quiet and simply delightful. Good Day from Stonewall Manor! To all of our "followers", we've made some amazing improvements. We continue to build, upgrade and are in the process of going COMPLETELY Green. Solar (active and passive), high-tech silent and bird-friendly wind turbines, and other major improvements. Keep posted for some amazing photos of our commitment to go totally Green.
