How to get help for Anxiety Attacks

Are you new to school in West Chester? Have you changed Jobs recently or lost a job? Anxiety attacks can be overwhelming and feel horrible. Anxiety, in general, is extremely common. Anxiety is often by inaccurate thoughts, feelings, actions, image plucked accidentally or prematurely from the unconscious into the conscious or accurate compartment by mistake. Your job is to place them back into the old compartment.

People often have pervasive worry and obsessing without realizing it. Long-term anxiety can lead to panic attacks and depression. Although anxiety can be a waxing and waning disorder it is very treatable through a combination of treatment modalities. Cognitive therapy with or without medication is extremely helpful.

What are the symptoms of Anxiety Disorders?

Obsessing, worry, automatic thoughts and “sticky brain thoughts” are often present with or without an individual’s knowledge. In children and adolescents, this may take the form of anxiety and worry about academic, athletic, and social performance.

Some common anxiety disorders are; Panic Disorder, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and in children Separation Anxiety Disorder, Over Anxious Disorder and School Phobia.
