Beloved local artist (and one of our regulars here at the gallery) has published his adorable new children’s book, Shark Bites Bakery.

Kyle will be reading his new book for story time at Barnes & Noble Exton on Saturday July 13th from 11am to 1pm.

If you have the grandkids for the day or are looking for something to do with your kiddos after the playground, be sure to check out this event.

Rhonda Counts’ works are instantly recognizable for their unique textures. She creates her canvases by sculpting various mediums, at times finger-painting patterns, and “impressing” natural elements, such as leaves, into the mediums.

Fluid acrylics are then applied, letting the colors flow over and in the textural crevices. In the flow, there is a constant applying, lifting and reworking of the paints over the texture.

“Nature has always been the inspiration for my paintings, a way to perhaps capture a bit of those ‘awe moments’ one encounters now and then in the presence of nature’s beauty. I am on a journey of discovery with my art, now that I have the time to pursue my passion to paint.”
