MARK MILLER (January 9th, 1960 – July 19th, 2026)

It is with tremendous sadness and the heaviest of hearts that we announce our long-time Director of Public Works and a true stalwart of East Goshen Township, Mark Miller, has passed away at the age of 66.

He was a “salt of the earth” human being in every sense of the phrase. He cared deeply for his community, his co-workers, and the employees that looked up to him. No job was too big nor was any task too small. He helped create, mold, and lead what we biasedly and proudly refer to as the finest Public Works team in all of Chester County as well as the region.

Mark was also a dedicated first responder and a member of the West Whiteland Fire Company for many decades, which he served as Past Chief Officer and was also the company’s current Vice President.

This is a tremendous loss for his family, friends, and our entire township. But we take solace in the fact that Mark’s legacy will live on through the community he quite literally helped build and a department he made into the pride of East Goshen Township.

His impact was immeasurable and he will never be forgotten.
