Before there was Roadrunner Hauling Solutions, there was a foundation built by people who believed in teaching, not just employing.
I spent about eight years at Big Red Box, learning the dumpster business side-by-side with the owners themselves. Around town they’re known as Dumpster Jesus and Dumpster Deacon, but to me they were mentors who poured into me daily. I was fortunate to learn directly from Coley Brown and Chris Dorsey, who didn’t just teach operations or logistics — they taught integrity, accountability, and what it truly means to build and run a business the right way. The lessons they gave me went far beyond dumpsters; they shaped the way I work, lead, and show up every single day.
And then there’s Ms. Ellen, whose impact on my life and career cannot be overstated. As CEO and CFO, she taught me the discipline behind the scenes — the part of business most people never see. She showed me how powerful clean, precise accounting is, how every number matters, and how avoiding even small mistakes can protect an entire business. Because of her patience and willingness to teach, I move forward with confidence and clarity today.
As I step into this new chapter with Roadrunner Hauling Solutions, I carry the lessons from all three of them with me every single day. The standards I hold, the systems I use, and the way I approach this industry are rooted in what they poured into me during those years.
This business may be new, but the knowledge behind it is not.
I am deeply thankful, incredibly grateful, and forever appreciative for the foundation they gave me.
If you’re ever in need of reliable dumpster services, I encourage you to support Big Red Box & The Dumpster Co. — companies built on the same integrity, leadership, and standards that helped shape who I am today. ❤️
