If we take a look around us and we constantly see what we are missing or what we do not have, we will continue to miss out on those things.
It is my belief that if we look around us and see what we want (such as happiness, a good job, good friends, good relationships, a good body, etc) we can be motivated to go after these things. If we start to chase these, we tend to get led towards feelings of missing out, feelings of always wanting more. These emotions we feel are weighed negatively on our lives, and they will constantly make us feel less and less, and less adequate. We will continue to chase these things.
I am not saying it isn’t okay to want more, or to go after the things you want. What I am saying is that if we want them we HAVE to go after them. What I am not saying is that we should only focus on them.
I believe it is important for each person who is looking to do better in life, who want to have the finer things in life, those who want success, to focus with the end in mind.
Decide what it is you want, and design your life around it. BUT ALWAYS be GRATEFUL for what you have currently and what you get.
If we live with this state of gratitude, the emotions of positivity, we will end up with more.
I have gone through many difficult things in my lifetime, and I have found that always looking towards the future I have thought through (all my goals, dreams, and aspirations) has brought about a better change. Whether it was going through unexpected unemployment, bouts of homelessness, or seeing a friend commit su***de, I have always done my best to remain positive. Focusing on the END In Mind
