Psalm 105:1 (KJV)

“O give thanks unto the LORD; call upon his name: make known his deeds among the people.”

My Complete Explanation

1️⃣ “O give thanks unto the LORD”

This is a direct call to gratitude. We are being reminded to recognize God for who He is and for what He has done. Thanksgiving isn’t only for the big blessings; it includes the everyday provisions and mercies we receive.

2️⃣ “Call upon his name”

This means to turn to God—to pray, seek Him, trust Him, and depend on Him. We can call upon Him in every circumstance, knowing that He is always worthy of our trust.

3️⃣ “Make known his deeds among the people”

When we see God’s hand in our lives, we are encouraged to share it. His goodness should not remain something we quietly keep to ourselves. Our testimony can remind others
of what God is able to do.

And Simple Meaning

Thank God, stay close to Him, and share what
He has done in your life.

Our Reflection

Gratitude becomes deeper when we stop and remember what God has already done.

We all have a story—prayers we’ve prayed, blessings we’ve received, moments when
God provided, and times when
His presence carried us.

We don’t need a dramatic story to give
God thanks.

Sometimes the simplest testimony is
the most honest:

“God has been good to me.”

So today, remember His goodness, call
upon His name, and don’t be afraid to
tell others what He has done.

That is gratitude with a heart behind it.

A little craving never hurt!

Enjoy the moment, enjoy the food, and keep life balanced. Because life is meant to be enjoyed, even in a little things should be grateful alaways.

You were given something uniquely yours—your gifts, your story, your dreams, your personality. Don’t spend your life hiding those things just because you’re afraid of being different. Let yourself grow, let yourself shine, and when you do, use that light to make somebody else’s journey a little brighter too.

Because Sometimes we forget how
much we already carry within us—our
gifts, our experiences, our dreams, and
our own unique light.

We don’t have to be like everyone else.
We just need to give ourselves permission to grow, to dream, and to shine in our own way.

And when we do, our light may become an encouragement for someone else too. ❤️

Keep shining. Your light has a purpose. ✨

Ecclesiastes 5:11 (KJV)

“When goods increase, they are increased
that eat them: and what good is there to
the owners thereof, saving the beholding
of them with their eyes?”

My Complete Explanation

1️⃣ “When goods increase”

As a person’s possessions and wealth increase, it can seem like life is getting better. More money can mean more things, more opportunities, and a higher standard of living.

But this verse asks us to look deeper than
simply having more.

2️⃣ “They are increased that eat them”

When possessions increase, the people and expenses connected to those possessions can increase too. A bigger income can bring bigger responsibilities, more spending, and more people depending on what you have.

Having more doesn’t automatically mean having more peace or satisfaction.

3️⃣ “And what good is there to the
owners thereof”

The writer is asking: What lasting benefit does all this wealth actually give its owner?

Possessions can be useful and enjoyable, but they don’t automatically provide happiness, peace, purpose, or fulfillment.

4️⃣ “Saving the beholding of them
with their eyes?”

A person can accumulate many possessions and spend much of their life simply looking at what they have. The warning is about possessing things without truly enjoying or benefiting from them.

The verse encourages us to consider whether
we’re building a life around acquiring more,
or actually appreciating and using what
God has given us.

And Simple Meaning

Having more possessions doesn’t necessarily mean having a better life. What matters is how we use what we have and whether we appreciate the blessings God has given us.

Our Reflection

It’s easy to think that having more will automatically make life better.

More money.
More things.
A bigger house.
More possessions.

But sometimes, the more we have, the more responsibilities come with it.

There is nothing wrong with having nice
things or being successful. The lesson is about not allowing possessions to become
the measure of a meaningful life.

What good is having everything if we
never slow down enough to enjoy it?

Maybe the blessing isn’t always in having more. Sometimes it’s in appreciating what
we already have, using it wisely, and being grateful for the life God has given us.

Tofu for dinner tonight. 😋🥢
Simple, homemade, and actually a pretty good choice—plant-based protein, may iron, calcium, and other nutrients, plus nakakabusog.

Hindi kailangan complicated ang dinner.
Minsan crispy tofu lang, solved na.

My ultimate chameleon.

A different future can start with a
different way of thinking.

Sometimes we get so used to our everyday routine—work, family, responsibilities—that
we don’t stop to consider what else
could be possible.

That’s why this conversation matters.

We’re sharing our real experiences of changing our mindset, learning something new, taking that first step, and building something of our own.

We didn’t all start from the same place.
We have different backgrounds, different responsibilities, and different reasons
for wanting more.

But we have one thing in common: we were willing to learn and give ourselves a chance.

This isn’t about having a perfect story.
It’s about being open to growth.
It’s about learning new possibilities.
And sometimes, it starts with simply saying,
“Let me learn more.”

If you’ve been thinking about creating
another option for yourself, I’d love for
you to listen to our conversation. Send me a message. I’ll share what we’re building and let you take a closer look and think about it..

Happy Friday

Ecclesiastes 4:13 (KJV)

“Better is a poor and a wise child than an old and foolish king, who will no more be admonished.”

My Complete Explanation

1️⃣ “Better is a poor and a wise child”

A person’s value is not determined by their age, wealth, position, or social status.
A young person may have very little materially, yet possess something far more valuable—wisdom and a willingness to learn.

2️⃣ “Than an old and foolish king”

The king represents someone who has authority, experience, and position. Yet having power or many years of experience doesn’t automatically make someone wise.

A person can have success and status while still making foolish decisions.

3️⃣ “Who will no more be admonished”

This is the heart of the verse.

Admonished means to be corrected,
warned, or advised.

The problem with the king isn’t simply that
he is old. It’s that he has become unwilling
to listen to correction.

When a person stops accepting advice or correction, even their experience and position cannot protect them from foolish choices.

My Simple Meaning

Wisdom and a teachable heart are more
valuable than wealth, age, or position.
Stay humble enough to listen and learn.

Our Reflection

Age can give us experience, and success can give us confidence—but neither guarantees wisdom.

One of the greatest things we can do in life
is remain teachable.

There will always be someone who can
teach us something. Sometimes correction
comes from someone younger than us, someone with less experience, or someone
we didn’t expect to learn from.

The important thing isn’t who is giving the advice. It’s whether we’re humble enough
to listen when the advice is wise.

Never become so confident in what you know
that you stop learning. A wise heart stays
humble, listens, and continues to grow.

Simple on the outside… look what’s inside. 💜 Purpley Camote.

Tonight’s dinner is just camote.
Simple on the outside, but look at what’s inside.

Sometimes, we’re so used to looking at the outside that we miss the beauty within.

A little reminder to appreciate what’s simple,
look a little deeper, and be grateful for
what we already have. 💜

Simple, natural, and the purple camote remains the star for the night.
