*ATTENTION FRIENDS*
NICKEL BOTTLE DEPOSIT IN JEOPARDY

The state wants to remove the "returnable 5¢ bottle deposit" from the law and replace it with A NON-refundable "FEE"
You think you just see Gatorade littered on the street...If there is no more deposit refund....our streets will be littered with all containers!

The State of Connecticut will be taking more money out of your pockets and eliminating more jobs. This is a tax, disguised as a "fee." If this is passed, no more bottle drives for your schools, scouts and charities, or extra cash for you gas tank or electric bill . Bottles and cans will again litter our highways, parks and public places.

Request to fix the bottle bill, Not replace it with an added beverage TAX.

Here it is folks..you or anyone you know that returns their bottles for the valuable nickel, please submit testimony to: [email protected]

Must be before Monday, March 13, 2017 public hearing!
