Where are you listening from today? If you’ve caught yourself silently crafting a response instead of listening, you aren’t alone. Developing a listening practice is not about shaming ourselves when we fail to listen fully- it’s about neutrally noticing, and then adjusting. You’re doing great.

What if there was more we could do to care for ourselves? What if we could change our surroundings to the extent that we don’t need to take a break from them?

Introducing Fathom’s June Sip Session with Jacquilyn Davis, Director of Workplace Mental Health & DEI at Mental Health Connecticut. When we talk about self-care, we are talking about resiliency – the ability to recover from whatever life throws at us. When we proactively and reactively care for our wellbeing, we are using tools to face the struggles and challenges of our lives and finding creative ways to take breaks to refuel. We set boundaries, learn to say no, make time for bubble baths, and treat ourselves to getaways and decadence. But what if there was more we could do to care for ourselves? At this Sip Session, you will be challenged to find how you can contribute to a better world, so that all of us can “build a life that we don’t need to regularly escape from.”

This is a LIMITED SEATING, in-person event on Thursday, June 20th at the Mental Health Connecticut Office in Farmington, CT. Visit www.eventbrite.com/e/june-sip-session-true-self-care-tickets-872002532047 to register and learn more.
