Vincent Appliance Repair

Your dryer probably isn't broken. It just can't breathe. This is what we pulled out of a dryer vent line in Northridge this week. If your loads take two cycles to dry, check the lint screen, the duct behind the dryer, and the airflow at the outside vent. Still slow or running hot? We can help.

Thanksgiving is about seven weeks away, and every November I get the same call: "The oven won't heat and the turkey goes in tomorrow." Let's not let that be you this year.

Here's a quick test you can do this weekend. Preheat your oven to 350°F and put an inexpensive oven thermometer on the middle rack. After 20 minutes, check it. If it's off by more than 25 degrees, takes far longer than usual to preheat, or the bake element shows a bright spot or blister, it's worth having it looked at now. On gas ovens, a slow-to-light burner or a faint gas smell is a reason to call right away.

Last week I was in Woodland Hills on an oven that had been running cold for months - the owners just kept adding time to every recipe. A small part fixed it, and now they're set for the holidays.

We've been repairing ovens, ranges, and cooktops across the San Fernando Valley since 2005, from everyday brands to Wolf, Viking, and Thermador. Our $85 service call is waived when you go ahead with the repair, and parts carry a 1-year warranty.

Your 5-year-old fridge shouldn't end up in a landfill. 🗑️

Parts prices are up 12–25% since early 2025, and gas is up about 29% in a year. Repairs now cost almost as much as a new appliance, so families replace instead of fix. That adds up to tons of avoidable waste.

California gives rebates to buy new appliances, but nothing for repairs. We're asking the LA City Council to change that with a repair voucher covering 50% of a repair, up to $250.
