IF Creative, LLC is the culmination of a combined 25 years in the nonprofit space and dedication to living a life filled with purpose and passion mixed with our zeal for life and flair for the impossible. The idea for IF Creative started to take shape in an otherwise unfortunate and devastating set of circumstances. In July of 2016, David Faustina, the then chief operating officer at a young nonpr
ofit homeless service agency in Los Angeles, found himself sitting in the chief executive’s office being told that his job was being cut stating financial reasons. Faustina had led efforts that elevated the company from a $1.6 million organization to an over $4.8 million in just over 3 years and had just delivered their most successful fiscal quarter, so the news came as a shock. In August, just three weeks after Faustina’s news, Eric Inman, then executive director of a South Los Angeles performing arts organization found himself in a similar position having had his position cut by the board. After cycling through the various emotions, Faustina and Inman decided to leave the nonprofit space, after many years of service, only to return to the space but in a much different capacity. Taking a hard look at the independent sector, we realized there was a widening deficit of content, specifically in the digital space for nonprofits. We are a social incubator of content and connection that require conversations and community. We don't tell your story, we work with you to evoke inspiration that helps you to find your story. Pair that with the optimized medium to share the story and the ROI will be powerful. Our motto is simple -- we are the narrative for good. Turning our focus from the negative circumstances that consumed us, we could tap into our passion and find a way to impact society for good. Our positive view of the sector is what is credited to lighting our path towards our current reality. Now we help other nonprofits tell their stories to our communities and obtain capacity through digital transformation.
