Saturday, May 2 – Service Notification

We’re currently experiencing a slowdown in the Morocco area. A technician is on the way to investigate what appears to be a cabling issue.

We appreciate your patience while we get things back up to speed. At this rate, we’re starting to think weekends just don’t like us, but we’re working on negotiating a peace treaty. 😅

Thanks for bearing with us. We’ll have things running smoothly again soon!

Service Outage Update – 4/18/2026 – 6:20 PM Central

We continue to have multiple tower locations offline due to widespread NIPSCO power outages.

For customers who currently have REMC power: even though your home may have electricity, your Internet service may still be down because the tower providing your connection is likely powered by NIPSCO. This is the primary cause of the ongoing service disruption.

Our team has been actively working to secure additional portable generators and develop plans to restore service at more tower locations. If NIPSCO power is not restored, we will begin deploying these generators tomorrow morning in an effort to bring more customers back online.

We would also like to extend a special thank you to our lead local technician, Marshall, who has spent the majority of the day refueling generators and keeping critical infrastructure running.

We appreciate your patience and will continue to provide updates as progress is made.

Service Outage Update: Brook and Ade areas are back online.

Still no updates for the rest of the service areas. We continue to monitor NIPSCO power outages on their website.

Thanks for the continued patience and understanding.

04/18/2026

Service Outage - Brook fiber customers are currently offline and customers feeding off our Ade location as we are now having power issues at our Brook location. We are currently troubleshooting.

04/18/2026

We are currently operating on generator power at our main location. Our Ade site has been restored to normal utility power and is no longer running on battery backup. We are running on generator at our Brook location.

At this time, we are still awaiting power restoration in Morocco and Kentland. These locations are critical network hubs that provide service to a large portion of our coverage area.

We understand there may be confusion if you currently have power but are still experiencing service interruptions. This is because portions of our network infrastructure specifically towers and core equipment are powered by NIPSCO, and outages in those areas will impact service even if your local power (REMC) has been restored.

We appreciate your patience and will continue to provide updates as power is restored.
