Cheaper doesn’t always mean cheaper. 😬

This iPad had already been repaired elsewhere. When the screen was replaced, pieces of the original broken glass were left inside the device.

That glass ended up sitting directly against the battery and you can literally see where it has been pressing into it.

A screen repair isn’t just “slap some glass on it and send it.” Proper cleanup matters.

We’re starting something new at On The Geaux Repair: Pass It On.

Once every month, we’ll choose one submitted application and provide that person with a repair completely free of charge.

This is not a one-time giveaway. We plan to keep this going month after month, giving one free repair each month to someone who could genuinely use the help.

We were at the shop until 1:00 AM last night, working to get customers’ devices finished and meet the deadlines we promised. 💥

Our workload nearly doubled overnight and has stayed that way for over a month. We are incredibly grateful that so many people continue trusting us with their phones, tablets, computers, consoles, and other devices.

Because of that growth, we are making BIG changes to how we organize repairs, track devices, and prioritize customers. Please be patient with us during this transition as we build a better system to handle the increased workload.

We thank God for giving us this opportunity to serve our community, and we do not take your support for granted.

There may be other repair shops but we do not know many that will stay until 1:00 AM to keep their word and get the job done.

I don’t know many repair shops that are still at the bench at 9:43 PM trying to get customers taken care of.

We’ve all worked at different repair shops over the years, and one thing we can say is this: when the workload stacks up, we stay until it’s done.
