Got the pleasure of meeting “Maria” today who is working for a Houston based company at the Meta Data Center project. We will be handing their material needs for the next 18 months to 3 years.
I won’t bore you with the back and forth of business exchanges, but one of my questions was, “What’s your experience been with our community”?
She told me most people had been super friendly & had found a few things to do. She loved the small town, tight knit feeling of our community, it reminded her of her hometown (Not Houston) in Texas.
I love meeting new people & today was a great day to do just that!!!

Today was my 16th year with Crawford Electric Supply. The success I’ve had is really a magic trick, because it wasn’t me that did it.

It was we…..

It’s people like Danny, Billy, Renee, Evan, Kris, Brian, Larry, John, David, & Nick that make me look good.
Most days I just show up & drink coffee ☕️

The only thing I will take credit for is working with incredibly talented and dedicated people, who are passionate about our customers, our community, & our company.

Today copper closed at the highest recorded price ever, since COMEX started recording & reporting copper futures in 1959.
Copper closed today at $6.63 which is unheard of. This isn’t insider information & is available to the public.

We currently have 7.5 acres in Arcadia, La. that we will begin construction on this fall for our Tiny Home Veteran Village. We will construct small transitional homes and have a central building onsite for cooking, offices, laundry, counseling and meeting room for group...

This evening I attended the visitation service of one of our customers wives, who had passed away this weekend. This customer has been doing business with us since 1988. While he was in the twilight of his electrical career, he still chose to call on us when needed.
As I stood in this country church and approached Mr. Ronny he said to me, “Bob I’m so glad to see you. I’m so glad you took the time to come here tonight”.
I expressed to him how deeply sorry we were and whatever I could do I would do for him, and that him & his family were loved by ours. He looked at me and said “We love y’all to boy”.
I could barely contain my tears. We talk A LOT about this being a relationship business, and this was that defining moment for me. Our hearts & prayers are with the Childress Family this evening and for all that we are fortunate enough to interact with in our community and beyond.
