I feel that it’s appropriate to share this, as fraud efforts affect us all. Retailers will tell you fraud, shoplifting, rigged returns, are part of the reason businesses have to increase prices to cover losses.
That being said this week we had no less than 6 attempts by individuals to make bulk purchases of wire & pay for it over the phone by credit card.
We have protocols in place for this & by following those we spared fraudulent charges to obviously stolen credit cards & loss of materials.
Huge shout out to our sales staff for remaining vigilant & not taking the bait!!!

Got the pleasure of meeting “Maria” today who is working for a Houston based company at the Meta Data Center project. We will be handing their material needs for the next 18 months to 3 years.
I won’t bore you with the back and forth of business exchanges, but one of my questions was, “What’s your experience been with our community”?
She told me most people had been super friendly & had found a few things to do. She loved the small town, tight knit feeling of our community, it reminded her of her hometown (Not Houston) in Texas.
I love meeting new people & today was a great day to do just that!!!

Today was my 16th year with Crawford Electric Supply. The success I’ve had is really a magic trick, because it wasn’t me that did it.

It was we…..

It’s people like Danny, Billy, Renee, Evan, Kris, Brian, Larry, John, David, & Nick that make me look good.
Most days I just show up & drink coffee ☕️

The only thing I will take credit for is working with incredibly talented and dedicated people, who are passionate about our customers, our community, & our company.
