Missed calls are draining $174,720

Every dental owner tells me:

“Missed calls don’t cost much.”

Then we run the numbers.

Average new patient value: $1,200
Average missed calls per week: 8
Average conversion rate: 35%

That equals:

📞 2.8 new patients lost each week
💰 $3,360 in lost revenue per week
📆 $174,720 per year

Not from poor dentistry.
Not from weak marketing.

From no one answering the phone.

The front desk was checking in a patient.
Handling insurance.
Running late.

The caller hung up.
Called the next practice on Google.
Booked there.

A missed call is not $0.

It is $1,200 you will never see.

Before you hire another receptionist, ask yourself:

❓ Will they answer every call after 5pm and on weekends?
❓ Will they avoid putting patients on hold during rush hour?
❓ Will they still work here in 90 days?

If any answer is no, you do not have a staffing issue.

You have a systems issue.

The fastest growing practices build systems that:

✅ Answer every call
✅ Book the appointment
✅ Thank the patient
✅ Work 24/7

No hold music.
No voicemail.
No lost revenue.

Your team focuses on patients in the chair.

The system handles the calls.

How much is your practice losing this week?

Stop hiring more front desk staff.

Before you post another job ad, ask yourself:

📞 Will they answer every call after 5pm? On weekends? During lunch?

⏳ Will they avoid putting patients on hold while checking insurance and greeting walk‑ins?

🚪 Will they still work for you in 90 days?

If you answered no to one question, you do not have a staffing issue.

You have a systems issue.

The fastest growing dental practices right now are not adding more people.

They are building systems.

Systems do not sleep.
Systems do not get overwhelmed.
Systems do not miss calls.

Here is what happens 60 seconds after an AI receptionist goes live:

The phone rings.

Instead of hold music or voicemail, a patient hears:

"Thank you for calling. How can I help you today?"

The AI answers questions.
Books the appointment.
Thanks the patient.

Your front desk never stops helping the person standing in front of them.

No juggling.
No missed revenue.
No chaos at 8:03am.

Every missed call is a lost patient.

How many did you miss last week?

You trained your clinical team to focus on care.

Why force them to chase phones?

We handle the calls.
You handle the dentistry.

Is your practice still relying on one person to catch every ring?

Your phones are costing you patients

60 seconds after a dental practice goes live with our AI receptionist, something shifts.

The phone rings.

No hold music.

No voicemail.

A calm, professional voice answers:

“Thank you for calling. How can I help you today?”

The patient:

📞 Gets their question answered
📅 Books an appointment
😊 Hangs up satisfied

Your front desk?

They stay focused on the patient in front of them.

No juggling:

🦷 Check-ins
📄 Insurance questions
☎️ Ringing phones

Most practices think missed calls are no big deal.

They are wrong.

Every missed call is a missed booking.

Industry data shows many dental offices miss 20 to 30 percent of inbound calls during peak hours.

That is revenue walking away.

I have seen it happen.

One practice told me their team felt constant pressure from the phone ringing.

After adding the AI receptionist:

• Call answer rate went up
• Same-day bookings increased
• Staff stress dropped

The team did not work harder.

They worked on the right tasks.

You handle the care.

We handle the calls.

What would change in your practice if every call got answered?
