The question I get asked the most is: what pellets are good?

The easy answer: Softwood pellets are best. Higher heat and low ash(means less cleaning.

This would be my list

1. Douglas Fur(expensive)
2. Other Softwood(Vermont Wood)
3. Softwood/Hardwood mix
4. Hardwood
