Heat Load Analysis is not only an evaluation on the space's heat load vs cooling capacity, but also a review of efficiency. Below are a few of industry best practices that we discuss during one of these studies:

1) Using blanking panels to keep hot air in the hot aisle
2) Using proper to create a clear path for exhaust air
3) Placing A/C supply / return pathways optimally
4) Using 2021 ASHRAE TC9.9 recommended setpoints
5) Sealing the envelope of the room to retain cool air
6) Removing cardboard from the space, as it absorbs moisture with more load on the A/C equipment

One of the many benefits for 3rd Party is the Integrated Testing agent provides an independent assessment outside of designer/installer including a full systems test to ensure all of the different system components work together prior to the builder handoff to the owner.

First, what is a hot spot? And No, its not your mobile device sharing the internet connection with your computer. The definition of a hot spot in your data center is a location at the intake of IT equipment where the measured temperature is greater than the expected value as recommended by . Hot spots most often occur towards the top of the rack.

management is an easy and cost effective way to permanently eliminate hot spots while saving energy and avoiding capital expense of adding more cooling. 68% tiles were installed in a clients higher heat density row giving the IT equipment 93% TAC ). These tiles are 68% open and delivers up to 2,600 cfm @ .1 H2O. More importantly, each vertical vane has an angle of deflection at the top to direct the air flow towards the server rack to achieve the 93% TAC rate compared to a standard floor tile which only delivers 30-50% TAC to the rack. This improvement enables the tile to efficiently cool up to 25Kw per rack!
