Our deepest sympathy and condolences goes out to the families, friends, colleagues and the Uvalde community in Texas. We are heartbroken by this tragedy. We are here thinking about these babies as if they were our own 🍼 School are supposed to be a “safe haven” for our kids and administrators. This incident that occurred at Robb Elementary showed us how vulnerable we are, especially for these little angels 😇

In recent years, we’ve all noticed an increase in violence against our children in school. What was once an isolated incident, now is becoming an epidemic! What was once a safe place to be, now is becoming a targeted danger zone! Safety is a huge concern in schools and one must question what preventative measures have been taken? How does a school respond to threats? Are schools still considered a safe place? Is simply announcing emergency codes and lockdowns enough to keep EVERYONE safe?

We as parents have taken the time to place our children in the best possible environment knowing that when we leave them, they are in a safe environment. As seen through current events, this is not so; it has become a myth. People that we least expect are ultimately causing havoc and altering the lives of many through their planned, calculated irrational behavior. They are targeting our children and successfully destroying what we love the most. But just as planned and calculating as they can be, so can we.

I think that Newtown, Sandy Hook, really made us all understand this could happen to us at any given time. Now is the time to do something about it. We have some answers. We have ways to make our kids safer and we have to do it now!

There are problems with the way authorities are responding to school shootings across the nation, and it is proven again and again during active shooter drills. Authorities simply do not have the tools to prevent or quickly stop an attack. These law enforcement agencies are doing the best they could with what they have. All the training that law enforcement agencies are doing isn’t enough to mitigate these attacks.

It takes an average two to four minutes after a shooting has begun, before someone calls 911. Usually, the caller is already under attack or has only heard gunshots and can only provide little information about the active scene. It also takes time for authorities to get to the incident site. All the while, they have very few details about what exactly is happening inside and where.

We have a passion to keep our kids, teachers and school personnel safe. We need to create a paradigm change in the industry of how we protect our public places. It is the right thing to do and we have a moral obligation to provide safety for our children. The best practice solution is integrating technology, protocols, training, security professionals and/or resource police officers. These efforts will increase the operational tempo and the safety of current law enforcement tactics.

Our partner “Mission Ready Global Academy” also shares the same passion about safeguarding our children. We believe that "every child, teachers and school administrators have a right to be safe in the educational environment.”

How do we disrupt the shooter's timeline and close the gap of killings within the first 5 minutes of attack? We have the solution and that’s having full-time resource police officer’s and/or full-time elite trained security officers who are military veterans post in every schools across America. Additionally, having technological system equipment on post, such as X-ray machines/equipments and other advanced imaging technology equipment, magnetometers and closed circuit television is the future of protecting our children.

Even though we will never be able to get into the perpetrator(s) mind before the attack, we can reduce the risk by being proactive. This is the first line of defense in an effort to mitigate the risk of active shooter incidents.

🎓 DO YOU REGRET YOUR DECISION TO DROP OUT OF HIGH SCHOOL? 🎓

If you left school but are thinking of going back to finish your diploma, you may be wondering whether it's worth the effort. You may be asking if earning your high school diploma is really that important to your future?

Well, the short answer is "YES." In fact, statistics show it matters very much.

Approximately 40 million Americans have never graduated high school. 60 percent of those dropouts are now between 40 and 70 years old and, according to the American Council on Education, 9 in 10 of those dropouts have never earned more than $40,000 a year in their lifetime.

In other words, 90% of high school dropouts will never earn more than $40,000 a year. That means without a high school diploma the odds that you will ever get a job that pays more than the minimum wage are stacked against you.

The simple truth is a high school diploma will open doors that without it would be closed to you.
Below are just some of the ways your diploma will help you move forward.

Let's face it, it's a competitive economy and employers aren't willing to take a chance on choosing the wrong person when they're hiring.

In fact, most employers won't even consider hiring someone who doesn't have their high school diploma.

You may think that's unfair, until you realize it costs a business both time and money to hire and train a new employee.

A business wants to be sure they're making the right investment in choosing you to be part of their team.

Earning your high school diploma tells employers that you are responsible and have the self-discipline needed to work well and complete assignments. It tells employers that you can do a job, that you can succeed, and that you are capable of setting goals and making them happen.

Let us HELP YOU or someone you know who needs to get his/her HS diploma for a better career opportunity!

Nationwide, statistics indicate that it takes an average of 14 -17 minutes before law enforcement responds to the call for assistance, with the average incident ending in under seven (7) minutes. With those response times in mind, the focus must shift to understanding who the “true” first responders are, because they are clearly the people within the event as it is unfolding.

Are you prepared?

You wind up in a ground and pound situation in what is seemingly an empty hand confrontation, and while you are covering your head, the attacker draws a blade and starts attacking you with the knife. Now it's a life and death situation. You must be able to get positive control over the weapon...and neutralize the threat.
