Prader-Willi syndrome (PWS) is a rare genetic disorder present from birth. It is caused by a genetic change affecting chromosome 15. PWS can affect muscle tone, growth, development, learning, behavior, and appetite.

👶 Signs in Babies

• Weak muscle tone
• Poor feeding and difficulty sucking
• Weak cry
• Delayed development

🧒 Signs in Children & Adults

• Constant hunger and little or no feeling of fullness
• A severe risk of rapid weight gain and obesity if food intake is not carefully managed
