As the Hamptons season begins to take shape. From a long-awaited reopening to fresh arrivals, these are the spots defining the start of summer out East:
🏡 The Hedges Inn — East Hampton’s only full-service luxury hotel returns for the 2026 season following a major redesign by David Netto. The historic 1873 property has been reimagined with a more elevated, service-first approach: think dedicated butler service, beach concierge, curated itineraries, and seamless in-town transport. With just 12 rooms, Swifty’s on property, and a strong focus on personalized hospitality, it’s setting a new standard for the East End. Reopening June 11.
☕ Tutto Caffè — A Neapolitan café and bar bringing espresso culture, aperitivo energy, and light bites to the Hamptons, blending Italian ease with a refined, all-day rhythm.
🌊 Barlume Beach — Montauk’s waterfront gets a lifestyle upgrade with this new concept from LDV Hospitality. Chef Francesco Battisti leads a Mediterranean, all-day dining menu set within a sprawling waterfront space designed for seamless day-to-night flow. La Dolce Vita meets The End; Montauk is moving upmarket.
🍸 Jean’s — Taking over the iconic Old Stove Pub in Sagaponack, this upcoming concept is led by Max Chodorow and Ashwin Deshmukh, with backing from industry veteran Jeffrey Chodorow. Positioned as a scene-first, fashion-leaning dining experience, it marks a clear shift from legacy steakhouse to a more trend-forward crowd.
🥐 Set Coffee — A minimalist, design-driven coffee spot focused on quality and simplicity, quickly becoming a go-to for morning rituals and low-key meetings.
✨ Miracle — A homecoming for Sag Harbor native Michael Nolan, taking over the former Vin Sur Vingt space. The concept centers on polished modern American cuisine in an intimate, design-forward setting. Elevated classics meet a warm, community-driven energy.
