Online! The cover crops Green Cover Seed raises and distributes (to all 50 states) harness the sun's energy in order to produce diverse seeds that farmers plant to protect their soil. Now Green Cover will also be harnassing the sun for operational purposes with their new 99kw commercial solar system.

Congratulations to No More Empty Pots (NMEP) in Florence, NE who is the latest GC ReVOLT development to go online!

This is one of our all-time favorite creations as it will help NMEP meet its mission to improve self-sufficiency, regional food security, and economic resilience of urban and rural communities by using the on-site solar energy to create security for their cold storage during power outages. This kind of vision ensures the security of NMEP and their partners' parishables when inclemental weather or other disruptions strike. The solar system combines 12kw of solar power with 30kw of storage capacity (6 batteries).

A big thanks to the team at NMEP for being good business partners, as well as incredible community advocates. We love your vision and are grateful to be a partner. Also thanks to Omaha Public Power District for the net-metered interconnect and for their innovative Greener Together Program which supports metro area non-profits who aspire to be more environmentally friendly and which made this project possible!

Online! This 12kw residential solar system is one of the newest homes to go solar in the OPPD service territory.

We are grateful that the Rice family went with us, and we appreciate Omaha Public Power District’s net zero commitment which is encouraging more families and small businesses to go solar.
