Instructions:
Mash the Beans
In a bowl, mash the black turtle beans with a fork — leave some whole for texture.

Mix the Batter
Add corn, onion, egg, flour, cumin, salt, and pepper. Mix until it comes together into a thick batter.

Form Fritters
Scoop 2 tablespoons per fritter and gently flatten into patties.

Pan-Fry
Heat a little oil in a pan over medium heat. Cook fritters for 3–4 minutes per side until golden and crisp.

Serve
Enjoy warm with sour cream, yogurt, guacamole, or a squeeze of lime!

Savory Brown Calrose Rice Pancakes with Yogurt Herb Sauce

Instructions:
Make the batter:
In a bowl, mix the cooked brown rice, egg (or flax egg), chickpea flour, green onions, garlic, cumin, salt, and pepper until combined. The mixture should hold together — if too loose, add a bit more flour.

Cook the pancakes:
Heat a nonstick skillet over medium heat and lightly oil it. Spoon the batter into the skillet, flattening slightly into small pancakes. Cook 3–4 minutes per side until golden and crisp.

Make the sauce:
Stir together the yogurt, lemon juice, chopped herbs, and a pinch of salt.

Serve:
Plate the pancakes warm with a dollop of yogurt herb sauce on top or on the side.

Rosemary Garlic Parmesan Popcorn

Ingredients:
½ cup True Origin Foods organic yellow popcorn
2 tablespoons olive oil (plus more for popping)
1–2 teaspoons finely chopped fresh rosemary
⅓ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
Garlic powder
Salt to taste
Black pepper to taste (optional)

Instructions:
1. Pop the kernels: Heat 1–2 tbsp olive oil in a large pot and pop the kernels. Transfer to a large bowl.
2. Infuse the oil: In a small pan, gently heat 2 tbsp olive oil with chopped rosemary for about 1 minute. Don't let it brown—just enough to release aroma.
3. Toss & flavor: Drizzle the rosemary oil over the popcorn. Sprinkle with Parmesan, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

Toss well and serve warm.
