LOOKING FOR DIESEL MECHANIC FOR FAST GROWING SOLID WASTE COMPANY
Qualifications:
3+ years of Diesel Technician experience preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent.
B-level qualifications, including diagnostic, electrical, and engine repair skills.
Dexterity and excellent hand-eye coordination
Mechanical troubleshooting abilities and proficiency with electronic diagnostic equipment.
Positive attitude and eagerness to learn or improve.
Ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment.
Willingness to adapt to new technology, repair procedures, and specifications.
Valid driver's license with clean record.
Responsibilities:
Perform work specified on repair orders efficiently. Evaluate components, and diagnose issues using diagnostic tools and specialized equipment.
Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, steering, suspension, brakes.

* Inspect, diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on a wide range of vehicles and equipment.
* Respond to service calls for emergency breakdowns.
* Safety checks on vehicles - the safety of every single employee and the people in our communities is our number one priority
*Complete required paperwork, documenting parts usage and accounting for repair times.
*Reviews, completes, repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.
*Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate/OSHA standards and perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
Pay range $25 to $42 per hour.
