HORIZON GROUP ANNOUNCEMENT

I am excited to share that Iowa based Vernon Research Group (VRG) has acquired Horizon Group’s market research practice.

I feel very good about placing this work in VRG’s hands. The Vernon Research Group team brings the kind of intelligence, rigor, and genuine curiosity that strong research requires. I will be working closely with VRG during a brief transition period on current and upcoming projects to help ensure continuity and a seamless handoff of our approach. On the ground - the recruiting continues and the Des Moines focus group facility remains open!

I look forward to connecting you with Robin Frost, Managing Director, Vernon Research Group (VRG) over the next month. I hope you will choose to work with Vernon Research Group in the future.

Over nearly 40 years, Horizon Group — formerly State Public Policy Group (SPPG) and including the legacy of Essman Research — has connected research, strategy, and action to help organizations make better decisions to create meaningful change. As I close this chapter of Horizon Group, I do so with deep gratitude and real pride in the work we have done together.

Horizon Group will close in Fall 2026.
