So much fun having lunch today with Kevin Roche while in Palm Desert. Kevin was one of my two mentors from my very first marketing position (when we lived in Cincinnati) at an international architecture & design firm that worked with the world's top retailers! I learned so much from Kevin's drive and energy for business development and marketing, and in his work excelling as a highly-recognized planning and design executive in the global retail industry. I was able to start my marketing career in a very exciting firm and industry. My work at FRCH (prior SDI) solidified my trajectory into the marketing and research world.

I love my career in marketing and research! 20 years ago as a board member, I started the NOVA awards for to recognize marketing that had great ROI! I’ve been an AMA member for 36 years and I love giving back now to my profession. Tonight we celebrated the best in Iowa marketing at Principal Park at the annual NOVA awards! I’m so proud to look back on this legacy. And I was humbled to receive Sponsor of the Year award for my annual work conducting all the research event surveys for the chapter and ongoing commitment.
