ESTIMATOR/PROJECT MANAGER OPENING!
JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking an Estimator/Project Manager to join our team at Two Rivers Glass & Door. As an Estimator/Project Manager, you will play a vital role in overseeing commercial and residential glazing projects from conception to completion. You will be responsible for accurately estimating project costs, managing project timelines, and ensuring the successful ex*****on of each project.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct thorough take-offs and estimates for commercial and residential glazing projects including storefronts, curtain walls and glass assemblies.
Collaborate with general contractors, architects, engineers and clients to review project specifications and develop accurate cost estimates.
Prepare comprehensive project proposals including detailed breakdown of materials, labor and other expenses.
Create accurate shop drawings and submittals for architectural review.
Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to obtain pricing and ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
Manage project budgets and timelines to ensure projects are completed within scope and on schedule.
Communicate with internal scheduler on upcoming labor needs, projects, and delays to ensure efficient scheduling of field staff.
Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address any issues and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders and team members to provide updates and resolve any project-related concerns.
Prepare and maintain project documentation, including contracts, change orders and close-out documentation.
Provide sales and administrative support for walk-in customers.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Previous experience in estimating and project management within the glazing industry, preferred
Strong understanding of construction documents, blueprints, and specifications.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Excellent problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with others
Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards related to commercial glazing.
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field preferred
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites as needed.
COMPENSATION/BENEFITS
Salary is commensurate with experience.
