Spoiler: that free weekend to finally organize your house probably isn’t coming. 😂

And when you DO find a few hours, organizing usually isn’t how you want to spend them.

So start smaller—but think bigger.

I’ll never create a system one drawer at a time because I need to see the inventory, find the categories, declutter, and understand how much space everything actually needs BEFORE deciding where it should live.

You don’t need a huge house or an empty room to do this. You need a temporary workspace and a willingness to let it look worse before it gets better.

See what you own first. Then create the system. 👏

Packing is only half the job — you also need a plan for how you’re going to find everything on the other side. 👏🏼

73 boxes + totes, all tracked by number, category, contents, unpack priority AND suggested landing place.

So when this shipment gets to Hawaii, my clients aren’t staring at a sea of boxes wondering where to start. They have a blueprint. 🌺📦

This is the level of detail I bring to a move. 🤍

44 years of life. An entire home. Iowa → Hawaii. And somehow THIS is the kind of project that makes me love my job even more🥰

Give me the moving parts, the donations, the pickups, the junk, the logistics + ALLLL the stuff. I’ve got it.

3 days left. We’re bringing this one HOME. 👏🏼

Moving feels like a LOT because you’re trying to keep track of a LOT. 😅

I don’t think about every individual item — I think in categories.

As we work through the home, those categories reveal themselves, get grouped together and eventually become the blueprint for the entire move.

It’s the same way I approach every home — moving or not. 📦

The faster I clear what’s not moving, the faster I can focus on what actually is.
