The Holocaust Memorial Day Trust encourages remembrance in a world scarred by prejudice and systematic, targeted persecution. We promote and support Holocaust Memorial Day – the international day on 27 January.

The N***s targeted for persecution anyone that they believed to have mental or physical disabilities. From 1939-1941 the N***s carried out a programme of ‘euthanasia’, known as the T4 programme (Tiergartenstrasse 4 programme).

CaféTO survey on Accessibility

In 2021, CaféTO is supporting over 1,200 restaurants this season with expanded outdoor dining space in curb lanes and on sidewalks. The City of Toronto is currently reviewing the CaféTO program. To assist with this work, CaféTO program staff are looking to better understand any barriers to accessibility that the CaféTO program may impact, and the effect that these barriers may have on people in Toronto.
