I’ve been involved with the Corridor 9/495 Chamber of Commerce for just over a year now. My only regret is that I didn’t join sooner. It is an honor to win this award, though all I really did was get involved and stay involved. There are a huge amount of networking opportunities all year long, and the Chamber works hard to help all its members benefit. His business acumen alone is impressive—but what he has brought to our Chamber community is truly exceptional. Scott has been a Chamber member for just over a year, and from the moment he joined, he jumped in with both feet or what we refer to as “drinking the Chamber Kool Aid.” He participates in everything. His level of involvement hasn’t just been enthusiastic; it has been transformative. By fully engaging in our networking events and programs, he has built powerful relationships that have generated over $35,000 in sales, opened doors to new referrals, expanded his network of advocates, and significantly elevated his business visibility. He is a living example of what happens when you activate the power of the Chamber. What truly sets Scott apart is his extraordinary volunteer spirit. As a Chamber Ambassador, he has adopted 16 new members, guiding each one through their benefits, coaching them on the value of active engagement, and making intentional introductions that help them feel welcomed from day one. And he didn’t stop there with his volunteer support. Over the past year, Scott has personally recruited seven new businesses to join our organization, directly contributing to the Chamber’s growth and vitality.
