10 Reasons Not to Have a Bo***ir Shoot
1. I’m fat
Fat is relative. Some of the “fattest” people I know are size 4′s and some of the most fabulous are 18′s. You need to know you are beautiful no matter what your flaws – because with those flaws come assets and I want you to shout from the rooftops loud and proud of how fabulous you look. Thats why we are here. Taking photos. Celebrating your beauty.
2. It’s Too Expensive
How do women celebrate themselves? I don’t know very many who do. We buy clothes to compete with everyone elses look. We eat carbs. We buy gym memberships to try and get skinnier. (Mine cost me $840 last year alone.) Never ONCE do we think about splurging on something for the purpose of showing the world how amazing we are Right.Now. Lets face it, we don’t really feel all that fabulous right now. We are always looking to “tomorrow” to feel great about ourselves – but with a glamor photo shoot (bo***ir OR clothed) you will feel it TODAY.
3. I am Too Old
I find that the older my clients are, the more comfortable in their skin they are. I love older clients. I’m certainly not judging you. Women are totally beautiful creatures at all and any age.
4. I am Shy
I can understand this. I am more comfortable behind the camera than in front of it. My very first bo***ir shoot, I think I was more nervous than the client, but once you get into it it all just goes away.
5. I Don’t Want These Photos “out there” on the internet
Why do you think my portfolio is not extensive? I do not slap my clients naked butts on my website unless they let me. Which most don’t. No one even has access to my computer except for me and after I edit I store securely for a short time and delete all of the outtakes. You have to have a sense of humor. But seriously – your privacy is my number 2 concern – after making you look smoking hot.
6. I am Pregnant
What a fabulous time to celebrate your body! That glow is something only experienced in Pregnant women, and guess what? You can’t say you are “fat” right now. LOL.
7. I don’t know what to wear
You can wear as much or as little as you wish, I will help you achieve the look and feel you want. I want you to feel like a star.
8. It’s Trashy
This is one that is hard for me to answer because I am a big fan of art, and “trashy” isn’t even in my vocabulary, but I will attempt to address this concern…First of all – this shoot is for YOU and YOUR MATE (if you have one) and I guarantee that he/she will not think ill of you! Second, the female form has been captured in art since the beginning of time – would you call the renaissance n**es trashy? Probably not but they did at the time. Now look at them up in conservative galleries being celebrated by the sophisticated elite.
9. Why the hell would I do that?!?! Because you will finally know how hot you are. Because you want a really original gift for your partner. Because you deserve it. Because a gym membership and new clothes can’t give you the gift that these photos will give you.
10. I am Embarrassed. Don’t be. Please. This is my job. Wardrobe malfunctions happen – Everyone has cellulite – and – you DO have a best side (and I know which one it is) – I have seen it all. A bo***ir is a lady's private bedroom, sitting room or dressing room. The term derives from the French verb bouder, meaning "to be sulky" or boudeur, meaning "sulky". A great deal of "bo***ir" is now created in the photographer's studio or in luxury hotel suites, where it has become very fashionable to create a set of sensual images for women in "bo***ir style". This often takes the shape of partly clothed images or images in lingerie, and has become more than just a passing fad for brides to surprise their future husbands. Although in the past there were many negative connotations associated with bo***ir photography, in recent years the trend has begun to gain momentum, and the entire look of bo***ir photography has begun to change. Bridal bo***ir photography is becoming particularly popular. Brides often have an album of bo***ir style photographs made as a present for their soon to be husbands.
