Two point discrimination testing is great to help people who have old injuries, scar tissue or any other history that has caused lack of awareness of an area of the body. Water alone won't cut it. The food on your plate plays a bigger role in hydration than most athletes realize. Electrolytes like sodium, potassium, and magnesium (found in whole foods) are what actually pull fluid into your cells and keep it there. On top of that, every gram of glycogen your muscles store holds onto roughly 3 grams of water. So if your carbohydrate intake is low, your muscles are running dry before practice even starts. Eat smart, perform better.
