Community Spotlight: Kauhale Creve Coeur 🎡

This week, we're shining the spotlight on Kauhale Creve Coeur and a recent carnival that brought residents, families, and team members together for an afternoon of fun, laughter, and connection.

With festive treats, music, themed activities, and plenty of opportunities to participate, the carnival offered something for everyone to enjoy. Whether residents joined in the activities, spent time visiting with friends and family, or simply took in the lively atmosphere, it was a wonderful way to celebrate the season together.

Events like these remind us that community is built through shared experiences. They create opportunities to connect, enjoy something new, and make memories that continue long after the day is over.

Welcome to the Kauhale Leadership Team, Jason Palculict!

We’re excited to welcome Jason Palculict to the Kauhale Health senior leadership team, where he will serve in an advisory role supporting special projects across our organization.

Jason brings more than 20 years of experience in senior living, along with a diverse background in leadership, operations, and strategic development. As a licensed Nursing Home Administrator and holder of a Juris Doctor (JD), he offers a unique blend of clinical understanding, operational expertise, and thoughtful leadership that will help support Kauhale’s continued growth.

Known as a servant leader, mentor, and team builder, Jason is passionate about empowering others through collaboration, process improvement, and continuous learning. His approach aligns closely with Kauhale’s commitment to building strong teams, fostering innovation, and creating communities where both employees and residents can thrive.

🌺 Our ʻOhana Spotlight 🌺
Featuring: Kim Sargent

This month, we’re proud to recognize Kim Sargent, our dedicated Housekeeping Supervisor, who has been a valued member of the Kauhale family for the past eight years. Kim began her journey as a Concierge and Scheduler before transitioning into Housekeeping, where her hard work, leadership, and unwavering commitment earned her the role of Housekeeping Supervisor. Family is at the heart of everything she does, and she and her husband, Darrell, will celebrate 38 years of marriage this October after renewing their vows in 2024. Together, they love spending time with their daughter, son-in-law, and two grandchildren, Tessa and Levi, and Kim rarely misses a chance to cheer them on from the sidelines.

Before joining Kauhale, Kim built an impressive career as an Activities Director, worked in local schools supporting fundraising efforts, owned her own tanning salon at just 19 years old, and even spent years waitressing at a beloved Dayton restaurant. Through childhood health challenges and personal loss, she has developed the resilience, strength, and compassion that shine through in everything she does. When she’s not at work, you’ll likely find her traveling, visiting the casino, or enjoying quality time with family—just don’t ask her to cook! As she looks ahead to retirement in the coming years, we’re incredibly grateful for the dedication, positivity, and care she continues to bring to our residents and team. Thank you, Kim, for making such a lasting impact on our Kauhale Ohana.
