Our chapter had so much fun participating in the Byron Saunders Foundation golf outing yesterday! Some of us played golf, some of us sponsored a hole, but everyone had a great time! ⛳️

Tom, owner of Excelleweb, took the floor and reminded us that true networking isn’t just about waiting for your turn to speak—it’s about actively being an advocate for others.

Tom challenged us to be intentional about helping our partners by:

📱 Amplifying their voice with a quick shoutout or comment on social media.

🗣️ Advocating for them at networking events when they aren't in the room.

💭 Thinking intentionally about their business throughout the week and asking, "How can I help them win today?"

When you focus on lifting others up, everyone wins. That is exactly the kind of culture Tom brings to our group.

Our featured speaker this week was attorney Bob Freed! Bob shared a story about the myriad of things that can go wrong when “handshake” agreements are made among family members, with nothing being documented. While presented in a lighthearted manner, the story highlighted the importance of working with a legal professional to ensure that your assets are protected!
