Free & happening tonight! Pruning best practices 🪚

Prepping is one of the BEST parts of giving a presentation or a workshop. It gives you a chance to review your info and compare it to your lived experiences. The coldest months of winter are prime-time for dormant-season pruning, so it's a great time to dive back into my pruning texts.

How quickly do dogwoods heal from pruning wounds? When's the best time to tackle evergreens? Why the heck are there so many kinds of hydrangeas and is there a simple way to remember when to prune them?

I'm giving a talk on "𝗣𝗿𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀" 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗨𝗔 𝗣𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗟𝗶𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗿𝘆 on Tuesday, March 3rd, at 6:30 PM. It's a great library with a comfortable amphitheater and if you've never listened to a presentation there, you're in for a treat. I'll talk about the best tools and techniques for pruning shrubs ... well, what I can fit into an hour. I love pruning and I love shrubs, so bring your questions -- or post them in the comments below. I'll answer what I can tomorrow night!
