Phase One of Our Training Center Is Complete!

We would like to thank Gehman Iron inc. for helping us complete the safety catwalk and ladder, as well as constructing extensions for our hallway burn prop.

Over the past month, we have also received our NFPA certification and approval from the Pennsylvania State Fire Academy, allowing the structure to be used for state-certified burns.

Our members are now working on grant applications and exploring other funding opportunities. We hope to acquire an additional training prop in the future, further expanding the hands-on training available to local fire departments.

Thank you to everyone who has helped make this important project possible. This is a major step forward for our County and our training capabilities.

Drill Night: firefighters participated in a live burn drill at the training building. Thank you to Dept 20 Harrison Two for cascade support and Sabinsville Ambulance for EMS standby.
