Another beautiful Fourth Friday at Rivet. 🤍

Our intimate gatherings are always filled with laughter, incredible talent, rich conversation, new connections, and a shared love for local culture and community.

This reel captures just a few moments from our August Fourth Friday Celebration, featuring artists Heather Ray Boelke and Jacklyn “Jax” Schillinger, with live original music by Sophia Stephens.

Throughout the evening, guests experienced original art, live creative demonstrations, music, conversation, light bites and drinks, and our Curated Collective Table—a collaborative showcase of locally made goods and creative businesses from:

Bridget Dean Ceramics • Marlo Hand Made • Artfulbarb Creations • First Chapter Puzzles • VarleyCo Wellness • FOR GNOMES • Nononsense Tallow • Oracle Moon

What we love about Fourth Friday is the opportunity to bring all of these elements together in one space—to experience the work, meet the people behind it, discover something new, and spend an evening surrounded by creativity and community.

We are so grateful for these gatherings and for every artist, musician, maker, collaborator, volunteer, local business, and guest who helps us make them happen.

Fourth Fridays are a small expression of something much bigger.

At Westfield Creative Collective, we believe creativity has the power to bring people together—and that strong creative communities are built when we intentionally create opportunities to connect, cultivate, and collaborate.

Fourth Fridays are one of those spaces.

A place where local artists can share their work and musicians can play something original. Where makers and small businesses can be discovered. Where families, neighbors, and new faces gather around art, conversation, music, and a shared appreciation for what is being created right here in our community.

We keep these gatherings intimate on purpose. Because connection happens differently when there’s room to actually meet the artist, talk to the maker, listen to the musician, and get to know the people standing beside you.

Every Fourth Friday looks a little different—and that’s part of the beauty of it. New artists. New collaborations. New ideas. New connections.

But the heart stays the same:

Connect people. Cultivate creativity. Create opportunities to collaborate.

And little by little, build a community where local creativity has the space to be seen, supported, and celebrated.

That’s the heart of Fourth Fridays.
That’s the heart of WCC. 💜

ONE WEEK AWAY | FOURTH FRIDAY AT RIVET

One week from tonight, we’re filling Rivet with vibrant color, soulful music, local stories, and some incredibly talented people.

This month’s Fourth Friday is an invitation to experience creativity up close.

Art that makes you look twice. Bold color that transforms the familiar. The stories and perspectives behind the work of Rivet’s featured artists and HCAA Juried Artists, Heather Ray Boelke and Jacklyn “Jax” Schillinger.

Original music from local singer-songwriter Sophia Stephens — soulful, poetic storytelling that gives us another way to experience this month’s theme, Same World, Different Wonder.

And for the first time, we’re adding a Curated Collective Pop-Up featuring consciously made goods from local artists, makers, and creative entrepreneurs — thoughtfully created products, including organic and toxin-conscious options, made right here in our community.

The atmosphere? Joyful. Vibrant. Social. Elevated, but relaxed.

Grab a drink. Wander through the art. Listen to live original music. Meet the people behind the things they create. Find something unexpected. Start a conversation. Stay awhile.

This is a celebration of local talent. Local art. Local creativity. Local stories.

Because you don’t have to travel to Nashville, Chicago, New York, or somewhere else to experience talented artists, original music, and thoughtfully curated creative experiences.

We have extraordinary talent right here.

MEET THE PERFORMING ARTIST | SOPHIA STEPHENS 🎶

We’re excited to welcome local singer-songwriter Sophia Stephens as our performing artist for August’s Fourth Friday at Rivet!

At just 20 years old, Sophia is already carving out a sound of her own — moving between rock, country, folk and alternative influences, tied together by thoughtful songwriting and a love for storytelling.

This month’s theme, Same World, Different Wonder, is all about perspective — the different ways creatives notice, interpret and respond to the world around us. Sophia brings another layer to that story through music.

One of our favorite things about Fourth Friday is the opportunity to discover something new. Maybe you come for an artist you already know and end up discovering a local musician you love. Maybe it’s a conversation, a new connection, or a piece of work that catches you by surprise. There’s always a little more happening than what you came for.

FRIDAY, AUGUST 28 | 6:00–8:30 PM
