Just because a student doesn't qualify for need-based financial aid doesn't mean they can pay outrageous prices for college. I'm looking forward to the day when merit aid and other cost-saving strategies for those who earn too much for financial aid will be part of such workshops as last week's webinar by the Treasury and the upcoming Ventura Chamber of Commerce Cash 4 College event.
