This is your friendly reminder that we are not plastic surgeons, we do not edit how you naturally look, ever.

Our rule of thumb is: if it won’t be there in a week, we will edit it for you. Such as a bruise, cut, scratch, etc. Kids are notorious for hurting themselves right before a session, and we absolutely get that.. but we will not now nor ever make your nose smaller, fix your double chin, or get rid of eye bags.

God doesn’t make mistakes and we don’t fix what the good Lord created.

This session hit different...

I took Kaylin's first ever "professional" photos when I was just starting out with my point and shoot camera.

Fast forward a few years, and I had the honor of taking her senior photos.

Being able to see the gorgeous woman she has turned into warms my heart. And how incredibly smart she is... man is this girl going places!

For those that don't know, life has been lifing lately for us.

In the span of a week, I got incrediby sick, my car was totalled, I had to get 30 stiches in my arm due to multiple laccerations in my arm, then had a really bad reaction to the TDAP shot I got when getting my stitches.

I have reached out to clients of september shoots, and let them know that editing would be delayed (only a week mind you) due to me having limited movement in my arm from the stiches.

Some of them were very understanding of the situation, while others unfortunately were not.

This happens SO much more than it should.

People forgetting that we are human, that life happens, sickeness happens, injuries happen, and we deserve grace and understanding because we are... HUMAN.

The lack of human decency that people have shown us this year is almost enough to make us stop doing photography all together.

The simple line of treat others how you would want to be treated seems to go to the waste side when people don't get photos back in a certain time.

It is disgusting, and it is sad.

So, unfortunately due to so many mean people this year not caring or understanding that life happens, we will be extending out editing time line so there is no longer any issues with hatred.

Our new time line of getting normal photos back is now 4-6 weeks instead of 2-3 weeks. If we can get your images back faster we will, but we will not be made to feel like crap or treated like crap due to things that are out of our control.

Thank you for those who have continued to show us love and support.
