I stayed at Riley’s house until after midnight last night. Her Mama and I sat on the sofa and watched old videos of Riley on our phones. I have a old video of Rachael’s Dad on my phone, and we watched it.
Riley’s Mama (Rachael) asked me to bring over the old home movies of her Dad. She wants to watch them with Riley today. She said, “that way Riley will know what Grandpa looks like when she goes to heaven”. Over the years Riley has seen many pictures of her grandpa, but I don’t think she watched any videos. Today is going to be a bitter sweet day. We haven’t watched the movies in years. We were all so young when he passed away.
I know he would have been the best grandpa ever. He was silly, funny and he had a great sense of humor. Riley’s personality reminds me of grandpa.
Today is going to be a painful day in many ways. Riley’s Mama was 14 when her Dad passed away, Uncle Benny was 11, and Mimi was 38 when she became a widow.
My heart is hurting in so many ways. My children have already endured a tremendous loss of growing up with out their Dad. Please Pray for a miracle for Riley Faith. I don’t know if her Mama will be able to handle another loss in her life. This is a extremely painful time in her life.
Both of Riley’s parents and Uncle Benny aren’t doing good. Benny is staying at their house. He is spending a lot of time with Olivia. Yesterday Olivia, Benny and Mimi played video game. Mimi lives three minutes away. I go over several times a day.
Olivia didn’t want to go swimming, yesterday. I think she misses spending time with Riley in the pool. Later in the day she went swimming with Dada, Benny and Mimi. Mama was on the sofa holding her Riley. When it was time to go to bed Olivia went to sleep on the sofa near Riley. Olivia still talks about Riley going to school next year.
Riley’s two little sisters are with Grandma and Papa. Whippies is 3 years old and loves grandma. She spends many nights at her house. It’s quiet at grandma’s house. I think Whippies gets scared when Riley cries in pain.
Adalynn is six months old. Riley named her. They were going to name her Madalyn, but Riley said she liked Adalynn better. Thankfully Adalynn is too young to understand what is going on,
My heart is breaking for all four girls. They deserve each other, and they deserve to grow up together.
I’m asking Everyone to Please Stop 🛑 what you are doing and Pray for a miracle for Riley Faith. Please increase your prayers for Riley. Cry out to Jesus….. Cry out to Jesus…. He is the only Waymaker and Miracle Worker. Please Pray like you have never Prayed before. Lift Our Riley Faith up to Jesus, and ask God for more time with Riley.
