Regretfully, I will be closing C & C Appliance Parts as of today. I've given the business a year and it has not been profitable. I appreciate the customers that have allowed me to serve them in the past year & the 30 years at the original location. Unfortunately, as the Alan Jackson song says "Now the stores are lined up in a concrete strip
You can buy the whole world in just one trip
And save a penny cause it's jumbo size
They don't even realize
They're killin' the little man"
After I get my Ebay business back to my house and everything up and running, I plan on offering parts in a "Meet-Up or Delivery Service" Thanks again for your support.

Refrigerator door gasket tip
If you keep your refrigerator door gaskets clean, they’ll seal properly and last the life of the fridge. But if you let sticky foods like syrup and jam build up on the door gasket, they’ll glue the gasket to the frame. Pulling harder on a stuck door eventually tears the gasket, which’ll cost you $100 or more to fix. Plus, if the door doesn’t seal properly, the fridge has to run longer, and that’ll boost your electric bill. Clean the door gasket with warm water and a sponge. Don’t use detergents; they can damage the gasket.

Avoid making repairs to outdated appliances. Consider the life expectancy of your appliances when deciding whether or not to repair them.

Nine years – dishwashers
Ten years – washers
13 years – stove, refrigerator, and dryer

Don't overload washing machines, dishwashers, or dryers, as this can strain components and lead to premature failure. Clothes should be able to loosely move around in the washer and dryer. Load you dishwasher so that nothing is interfering with the tower or spray arm. Also is your dishwasher doesn't seem to be cleaning as well, you may need to bump the temperature up on your hot water heater 5-10 degrees.
