Big Data comprises large and complex data sets, many traditional privacy processes cannot handle the scale and velocity required. Big data is an asset in this digital age - and a privacy risk if managed poorly.

Prioritizing cybersecurity in your company makes big data a big help, rather than a big roadblock.

To avoid internal dangers, educating your personnel at all levels on best practices which includes even the basics, like changing passwords frequently and logging off unused computers. In context, finding a solution that monitors big data in real-time will help you stay on top of potential data breaches and apply data protection policies faster and more quickly.

▪ 8+ years of hands-on experience developing and applying data-driven solutions in a corporate or consulting setting, preferably in a CPG/ Retail/ Healthcare industries

▪ A Master’s degree in machine learning, mathematics, computer science, statistics/ economics or related fields

▪ Ability to solve data science problems using both traditional and advanced analytical (AI/ML/DL) techniques

▪ Experience with R, Python, Spark, TensorFlow, Caffe, PyTorch and Big Data platforms like Apache Spark and Hadoop

▪ Strong experience and knowledge of data engineering, data modelling, algorithms, and data science

▪ A Doer: you get things done and inspire your teams to do the same

▪ Intellectual curiosity and excellent problem-solving skills, including the ability to structure and prioritise an approach for maximum impact

▪ Roll-up your sleeves and work with a group of smart engineers and data scientists to deliver on the promise

▪ Hiring, guiding and coaching Data Science team, and scale the same to keep pace with fast growth

▪ Contributing to the thought leadership through whitepapers/ articles and conferences
