Hi! Let me introduce myself - I'm Kyle Clare Lagatol. Let me tell you a little about myself and how I came to be a photographer.

After college, I worked as a project director for a marketing research company. I began my professional photography career in 2009 when I switched over from the marketing research side to work in the photography/graphics department. After gaining experience learning on the job of doing product photography and graphics, I went off on my own after 3 years. I started as the jack of all trades and did everything from photobooths to events to product photography to headshots. After a couple of pauses in my career due to a car accident and then limited work during Covid, I returned to my previous company, now doing freelance product photography. I continue to do headshots, portraits, events, and in 2023 added on to photograph for Park Ridge Living.

On the personal side, I live in Westwood with my husband and two daughters. My oldest is off to college in the fall, and my youngest is in her last year of middle school. Same as I did for photography, I made my other hobby of yoga into a career. I teach yoga 5+ times a week to all ages, with classes for pre-schoolers, school-aged children, adults, and 55+ classes. The rest of my time is dedicated to volunteering for my children's schools, Girl Scouts, and other events within Westwood. I am also running for town council to hopefully continue my service to Westwood.

Next Saturday, grab some lunch from one of the many restaurants in Westwood and join us to celebrate local artists, artisans and musicians. After you purchase some cool art, let out your inner artist by participating in a huge weaving project and create some other crafts. Bring a chair or blanket and relax while listening to our various bands that will be playing throughout the event.

I've known these kids since they were toddlers running around the office for bring your kid to work day. Now they are all grown up.
