🏢 Exciting times at Touch Telecom! 🏢

Our new Head Office is now ready for full operations and we’re proud to be building a central hub that will support customers across the entire UK.

The facility brings together our office space, warehouse, storage, repair centre, meeting rooms, comms rooms, media rooms, and dedicated build areas under one roof. This allows our teams to efficiently configure, repair and support laptops, iPads, mobile phones, computers and a wide range of business technology solutions.

This is much more than just a new office. It’s the foundation for the next stage of our growth, enabling us to expand our technical and engineering teams, improve service delivery, and continue investing in the infrastructure our customers rely on.

There is still plenty to come, with new signage being installed and further developments planned over the coming weeks.

Watch this space as we continue to bring our vision to life and create a facility that not only serves Yorkshire but helps us support businesses right across the UK.

Facilities Housekeeping Contractor

£120 - £150 per day | Monday - Friday | 09:00 - 17:00

Location: Multiple Company Sites

Reporting To: General Manager

We are seeking a reliable and proactive Facilities Housekeeping Contractor to maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, housekeeping and presentation across our office and operational facilities.

This is a full-time contractor role supporting multiple company locations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all facilities remain clean, safe, organised and visitor-ready at all times.

Key Responsibilities

Cleaning offices, meeting rooms, kitchens and welfare areas
Cleaning and maintaining toilet facilities
Emptying waste and recycling bins
Vacuuming, mopping and general housekeeping duties
Maintaining communal and reception areas
Restocking consumables such as toilet rolls, soap and hand towels
Supporting site presentation and cleanliness standards
Identifying and reporting maintenance or safety concerns
Working independently and managing daily priorities across multiple locations
What We're Looking For

Previous cleaning, housekeeping or facilities experience preferred
Strong attention to detail
Reliable and punctual
Able to work independently with minimal supervision

About the Role:

We are seeking two proactive and customer-focused Connected Engineer Advisors to support a major engineer connectivity improvement programme.

Working from operational dashboards and performance data, you will identify field engineers experiencing connectivity challenges and proactively contact them to understand and resolve issues affecting their ability to work effectively in customer homes and field environments.

This is not a sales role. It is an engagement, support and problem-solving role focused on improving engineer productivity, service delivery and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Review engineer connectivity and performance dashboards
Identify engineers experiencing connectivity issues
Proactively contact engineers by telephone
Investigate and understand connectivity challenges
Recommend suitable connectivity solutions
Coordinate approved remedial actions
Maintain accurate records and case notes
Track outcomes and improvements
Build positive working relationships with field engineers
Escalate complex cases where required
Typical Solutions May Include

SIM replacement
Multi-network SIM deployment
Mobile hotspot deployment
Device upgrades
Nighthawk deployment
Starlink deployment for specialist use cases
Coverage optimisation recommendations
Connectivity troubleshooting and support

We are looking for two reliable and detail-oriented Mobile Device Repair Technicians to join our Provisioning Centre on an initial 3-month contract.

The role involves testing, diagnosing, repairing and preparing smart devices for redeployment. Full training will be provided in our Smart Device Valet and repair processes, making this an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to develop specialist technical skills within a professional technology environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair mobile phones and tablets
Replace screens, batteries and other device components
Carry out device testing and quality checks
Complete Smart Device Valet processes
Prepare devices for redeployment
Accurately record repair and testing activities
Maintain a clean and organised work area
Follow quality, security and operational procedures
What We're Looking For

Strong attention to detail
Good practical and technical aptitude
Ability to follow documented processes

After 3 days on site across a number of schools in Cumbria, the Touch Telecom engineering team has successfully completed another large-scale Yealink phone installation project. 👏

Our engineers have worked long hours to ensure every system was fully installed, tested and up and running ready for staff and students returning on Monday morning.

With our offices based in Windermere and Cockermouth, we are perfectly positioned to support businesses and organisations across the whole of the Cumbria region. 📍

From Whitehaven, Cockermouth, Keswick, Kendal and Coniston — we managed to get everything completed on schedule and ready to go.

A huge thank you to all of our engineers for another fantastic effort this half term break! 💪

New signage day at the new Touch Telecom HQ 😍🚧

Another huge milestone as our brand new signage is now installed and the new HQ is really starting to come to life. From the outside transformation to everything happening inside, we’re getting closer and closer to the big grand opening 👀

This new space gives us more room for our growing team, warehouse operations, stock, vehicles, media spaces and future expansion 🚐📦💻

A lot of hard work has gone into this project with plenty of late nights behind the scenes, but seeing it all come together makes it worth it 🙌

We can’t wait to show you the finished result very soon…
