When you find out you no longer have a hired man 2 hours before the barn, recovering from knee replacement surgery or not, your on the rig for the day. Slow and steady wins the race today. Thank goodness it’s a small one, only 170’ and half way cool at around 85 😝. This is truly what being self employed means! Keeping those customers happy is #1 no matter what!

Drew Kalepp and Nicky Kalepp helped us whitewash today. This was City Slicker (Nick’s) first time. I thought he’d hightail it to the road and start walking home but instead he stayed with it all the way through 2 barns. He covered pipeline and pulled hose for Drew and I as we blew down the barns. Great job boys and welcome to the family business Nick!

Two barns done for the day. So glad we decided to go get 18 skid of the GOOD lime direct for the plant, instead of the crap Menards is trying to pass off for an outrageous price. Thanks to Meister Trucking Company for the use of the van trailer and Austin Kalepp for going and picking it up.
