💜 Two years ago, I had an idea.

An idea to create a platform that celebrated all the amazing things women create. A place where women could shop, connect, learn, laugh, and support one another. A place built on the belief that when women support women, incredible things happen.

Today, as we celebrate the second anniversary of The Women Collective, I can hardly believe how much that little idea has grown.

Over the past two years, we’ve built a community of 80+ women-owned brands, created meaningful Uplift + Inspire Experiences, launched our TWC Book Club, continued the Women Empowerment Series, celebrated incredible young ladies through our Girls Rock Empowerment Corner, and partnered with amazing women-owned businesses to bring our Uplift private-label collection to life. We’ve hosted pop-ups, book signings, workshops, sip and shops, and countless moments of connection.

We’ve supported local events, partnered with small businesses, and created a space where women can discover something new, feel inspired, and leave with a little more joy than when they walked in. But the truth is, none of this would be possible without the people who have believed in this idea and helped bring it to life.

To my tribe: I really couldn’t have done this without YOU. To everyone who has visited the store, shopped a pop-up, attended an event, checked out our online shop, written a review, recommended us to a friend, or helped spread the word—thank you from the bottom of my heart. ❤️

To our incredible vendor partners: Thank you for trusting us to share your stories, your products, and your passion. You are such an important part of what makes The Women Collective special.

To the community of Downtown White Bear Lake: WOW! You have embraced The Women Collective and helped make it such a meaningful space. Thank you for welcoming us, supporting us, and cheering us on.

And to Jared, my #1 fan: I’m so grateful for you and all your support with my crazy ideas! Thank you for always having my back and believing in me. ❤️

The Member Spotlight this week was The Women Collective ()!

The Women Collective didn’t start as a store - it started as a mission. Founded by Dr. Amelia Reigstad, PhD. our roots are in professional development, supporting women and organizations across North America in becoming stronger leaders and more effective communicators. Over time, that mission expanded into the curated retail experience you see today in downtown White Bear Lake, where we proudly showcase over 80 women-owned brands. The Women Collective is so much more than a retail store. We continue to offer professional development and training opportunities, serve as keynote speakers and moderators, and curate meaningful events and workshops designed to inspire and uplift women with purpose.

Today, we remember Gloria Steinem — a woman whose words, courage, curiosity, and unwavering commitment to equality helped change the world.

Gloria understood that sometimes the most powerful thing we can do is listen. To make someone feel seen. To create space for others to find their voice. And to remind us that we are never too old, too busy, or too far along in our own journey to keep learning, growing, and making a difference.

I was fortunate to see Gloria live for a speaker series at the University of Minnesota and it was one of the biggest highlights of my life. She was a badass trailblazer whose career fighting equality spanned over seven decades. She is such a role model and why I’m so passionate about women’s rights and equality. That is the spirit we hope to continue to at The Women Collective.

Our mission to Uplift + Inspire with Purpose is rooted in the belief that women are stronger when we have one another. When we share our stories. When we celebrate each other’s successes. When we create opportunities for women to feel empowered, connected, and inspired to pursue their own purpose.

Gloria’s legacy reminds us that change doesn’t happen through one voice alone. It happens through communities of women who listen, learn, speak up, and lift one another higher.

We are grateful for the path she helped create and for the many women who continue to walk it.

May we honor her by continuing to make space for one another, encouraging one another, and using our own voices to make the world a little more equal, a little more compassionate, and a little more connected.

Thank you, Gloria, for showing us what it means to live with purpose.
