Morning Devotion

Isaiah 53:6 is a profound verse that speaks to the universal human condition of straying from the path and the extraordinary grace that brings us back. It says,

“All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned—every one—to his own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all.”

In the journey of life, we often find ourselves wandering, lost like sheep without a shepherd. Each of us, in pursuit of our own paths, may stumble and stray away from the guiding light of truth and love. Yet, Isaiah 53:6 offers a message of hope and redemption.

It reminds us that although we may falter, there is a divine grace that seeks to gather us back into the fold. The burdens we bear and the mistakes we make are not ours to carry alone. There is a sacrificial love so profound that it takes upon itself the weight of our iniquities, offering us healing and a return to wholeness.
