Over a billion years in the making.

The Black Butte Copper Project exists because of an incredible chain of ancient geological events - and now those ancient processes are creating modern opportunities for Montana, copper supply, and the technology we use daily.

Last week, Nancy Schlepp represented our team at the Montana Mining Association Annual Meeting!

The theme, "Defining Responsible Mining in Montana," fit our goals here at Black Butte perfectly. Nancy sat on a panel with representatives from other mining companies and organizations, discussing what responsible mining really means: community, commitment, environment, accountability, and genuine partnership.

These conversations matter because they help shape the industry's future. We're proud to be part of this dialogue!

📰 Big news - We've announced the results of our updated Preliminary Feasibility Study for the Black Butte Copper Project, which significantly enhances the long-term value by including the Lowry copper deposit in the mine plan!

This is a major milestone for Black Butte Copper, our team, and Meagher County. The updated study confirms that the Black Butte Copper Project is one of the highest-grade undeveloped underground copper projects in the United States and has increased revenue forecasts and stronger project economics.

Copper is designated as a critical mineral in the United States, and we're proud to potentially help strengthen domestic supply while creating sustainable jobs right here at home.

The Smith River brings this community together, so it's only fitting that taking care of it does too.

We've teamed up with Montana Trout Unlimited and the Meagher County Stewardship Council on a restoration project along a stretch of the Smith, with support from Montana Department of Environmental Quality 's Ranching for Rivers Program and Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks .

It's the kind of project that only happens when people who have different perspectives show up around the same goal: healthier banks, cleaner water, and a river that stays strong for the people (and the fish) who depend on it.

We live here. We play here. And we're proud to help take care of the environment that ties us all together.
