I wanted to wish you a Very Merry Christmas and to Thank You for your years of patronage. I have enjoyed being a part of so many wonderful celebrations from 1985 – 2017.
It is with much regret that I update you with the announcement of Absolute Entertainment has played its last song. After 30+ years of being a radio personality and having a blast entertaining you on the radio and more so in person with my Mobile Disc Jockey company, we have hung up our headphones and unplugged the light show for the last time.
After investing actual thousands of dollars in true professional equipment, legally purchasing our music, and legally paying our dues to BMI, ASCAP and SESAC music royalties; then receiving inquires on our services only to first hear “I have a (Brother/Sister/Cousin/Friend/Pet) that stated they could do my (Wedding/Company/Holiday/Graduation) party for $200… Could you beat that quote…. Um NO. I pay my staff of professional more than that per event. I always have been entertained by Brides spending hundreds to Thousands on a dress, spare no expense on a Hall, food catering and a cake. Then try to pinch pennies on entertainment. I would tell them “Listen, the hall can have stains on the carpet, the dress could be a second hand, burnt food, melting cake, and as long as the entertainment is top notch people will have a blast. If you spend all your budget on Dress, Hall, food, cake to match or exceed photos in “The Knot” magazine, but hired somebody to entertain your guest on the cheap… Chances are ALL your guest will be bored and gone before 10 pm and all the money you spent will be for not..
I have no ill feelings and understand it is what it is, I have now focused on providing a service to look out for your wellbeing with the biggest purchase of your life… The Purchase of your HOME.
