We are aware of the upcoming rain forecasted for the festival. Our festival is rain or shine. The day of the festival we will make the determination weather to move the music inside or leave it outside. We thank everyone for their support and we will see you Sunday.

Well, we gave y’all a whole day to guess… and some of those guesses had us wondering just how sweet y’all think we like our apple butter! 😂🍎

🥁 Drumroll, please…

102 POUNDS! 😳😂

Yep — 102 pounds of sugar went into this year’s apple butter!

Those Golden Delicious apples were SUPER sweet this year, so they didn’t need nearly as much sugar as you might think. Mother Nature did most of the sweetening for us! 🍎

And judging by how good that apple butter turned out, I’d say she knew exactly what she was doing. ❤️

🍎 Now come spend the day with us at the Molasses Festival this Sunday, October 4th, from 11–5!

Bring the family, bring a neighbor, and come visit awhile. Enjoy the old-time traditions, catch up with folks you haven’t seen in a while, and be sure to take home a jar of apple butter.

Lucky for us, all 22 cases will be available for sale at the festival this Sunday from 11–5 for $15 a jar! 🍎🥄

And we’re not finished yet! We’ll have 25 more gallons of applesauce cooking down into apple butter right there at the festival.

Come spend the day with us, grab a jar, and take your turn stirring the kettle! ❤️ There’s nothing better than keeping these old mountain traditions alive together.
