As the City of Whitewater looks to expand its business park, a UW-Whitewater study says the current push could transform its local economy. The city is seeking proposals from businesses to build on 21.6 acres of land at the end of Universal Boulevard and along Howard Road. Community Development Director Mason Becker calls the lot “one of the best” still under city control. The city says it is suited for mid-to-large footprint industrial uses.
